 Dr. Zafarul-Islam Khan is a senior journalist, scholar and author of over 50 books in English, Urdu and Arabic.  He studied in India, Egypt and UK.  He worked in Egypt, Libya and UK.  He was the Chief Editor of The Milli Gazettee from its inception in January 2000 to December 2016.  He was President for three terms of the All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat (AIMMM), the umbrella body of Indian Muslim organizations.  He is Chairman of Charity Alliance which is doing charitable work among some of the most disadvantaged people in places like Murshidabad and Muzaffarnagar.  He has attended dozens of conferences across the world and has delivered keynote addresses in many Indian and foreign universities.  He organized a number of international conferences in London and Delhi including the International Dialogue between Islam & Oriental Religions in February 2010 at Delhi which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-President Mr. Hamid Ansari.  Dr. Khan frequently appears on top Indian and foreign TV channels on issues related to the Subcontinent and the Muslim World.  He was appointed as the Chairman of Delhi Minorities Commission on 15th July 2017 for a three year term.  Along with the two other members of the Commission, he assumed charge on 20th July 2017.




Sh. Harvinder Singh Sarna


Shri Kartar Singh Kochhar has been holding both Political and Social positions with a pious  aim to serve the needy people barring their caste, creed and religion.   He held Political positions as Member of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, holding the post of Joint Secretary from 2007 to 2013 and Ex-Chairman, Governing Body of Guru Harkishan Public School Society (Regd.) from 2009-2015. He is a Life Member of National Rifle Association of India.

He is a Member of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), India;  General Secretary, Green Garden Association (Regd.), New Delhi; Vice-Patron, Red Cross Society, New Delhi; Member, DDA Sports Club, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi; Member, Safdarjung Club, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi and Life Member, Investors Club, Greater Kailash, New Delhi; President, Safdarjung Development Area Market Welfare Association, New Delhi since 1977 till date, about 39 years and General Secretary, All India Tent Dealers Welfare Organization (Regd.), New Delhi since 2000 till date, about 17 years.

Besides, he held coveted positions in the past- Ex-President, Usha Niketan Residents Welfare Association, Safdarjung Development Area, New Delhi; Ex-Vice President, Safdarjung Club, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi and Ex-Patron, Safdarjung Development Area Residents Welfare Association, New Delhi.

He is a Cosmopolitan and he has immensely contributed his life for the betterment of the Society.  He has been serving the People and the Society with a sole aim to ameliorate their life in all scopes.

Sh. Abraham M. Pattiyani




Ms.  Anastasia Gill, Advocate hails from a village Ranbir Singh Pune under Jammu  & Kashmir State. She belongs to a Roman Catholic family and has three  brothers and two sisters. She is also a dedicated Nun belongs to a religious  Congregation known as Presentation Sisters, originated in Ireland who are  pioneers in Education in India. 

She  graduated from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University; completed her Masters  in MSW from Mumbai University and she did her LLB and LLM from Sardar Patel  University.  Apart from this, she is a  Member of National Dalit Christian Watch, National National Christian Dalit  Council (NCDC) NCCI AND Human Rights Networks working for Dalits, Women and  Minorities. 

  She has  presented papers in UK on the Plight of Dalits and participated in many Conference  and Seminars in UK.  She has published  few articles in well known journals, and to her credit she also has received  many National and International Awards.   She is known for her activism on for Dalit Women and dignity of human  persons in judicial activism.

She has  worked for the plight of the under trial prisoners in various jails.  She is well  appreciated for her positive energy and believes in team spirit to build a  better Work.  Anastasia has worked in  various levels as Co-ordinator and Networking for Social work interventions for  the last 20 years.  She had been working  a practicing Advocate in Supreme Court, High Court and District Courts before  her appointment as Member, Delhi Minorities Commission w.e.f. 20th  July 2017 for a period of three years.
