Chief Inspector- Vide Notification No. F.47(10)/61-DSW dated 10.05.1961, the Director, Social Welfare, has been appointed as Ex-Officio Chief Inspector for the Protective Home under the Act.

The Protective Home and Corrective Institution- The Directorate vide Notification No. F.42(SIT)/79/DSW/ICW dated 24th March 1988 has declared Nirmal Chhaya earlier known as Nari Niketan as a Protective Home and Corrective Institution for purposes of the Act.
